Hound Haus an all-day cafe, bar, and dog park. Our establishment offers a supervised, gated dog park that also has amenities for dog-owners. While dogs run around and play, dog-owners can enjoy a coffee and pastry in the morning and a beer in the afternoon or evening. Our staff of "houndskeepers" will monitor dog play, clean up after your dog and consistently sanitize the play area. All dogs need to be up to date of vaccinations in order to enter.

Hound Haus offers 10,000+ sq ft of indoor/outdoor play space. We have two designated sections: the side closest to the Post-Office is the designated on-leash section, complete with picnic tables and lawn games. The side closest to Fire Side is our off-leash dog park. A covered, heated patio provides protection from the elements during those cold and rainy Pittsburgh winters. On either side, owners will be able to sit and enjoy a coffee or beer and some food alongside their pups. We offer a variety of breakfast foods, sandwiches, salads and some sweet snacks. Plus plenty of dog treats for your pup. We also offer free WiFi so you can work while your dog plays.

Yes. We have a designated space for dogs under 30 lbs. The small dog area has the same amenities as the big dog area with play equipment, fresh water stations, and seating for dog parents. Small dogs are allowed in the big dog area as long as they are comfortable and meet the minimum requirements.
-
Your dog must be at least 16 weeks (4 months) old and current on all vaccinations in order to enter. Puppies who are under 30 lbs and under six months of age are only allowed in the small dog area, or the on-leash potion of Hound Haus with their parent(s). After 4 months, puppies’ immune systems and physical abilities will be sufficiently developed to be in an off-leash environment with adult dogs.
-
To enter The Hound Haus, your pup must be up-to-date on vaccinations (Rabies, Distemper/Parvo/Lepto (DHLPP/Da2PP), and Bordetella) Additionally, for the safety of the dogs, it is encouraged to have received a negative fecal analysis within the year and to be up to date on heartworm, flea and tick prevention. Most heartworm preventatives also control GI parasites. We recommend uploading this information when you register your dog. For people utilizing daily guest passes, we recommend registering your dog and signing the waiver ahead of time. If you’re unable to register ahead of your visit, you have the option to bring your vaccination records with you. Please note this registration process will take some time to complete on-site when you arrive.
